Publish, archive or delete a title
Put a title on sale, take it off your store while keeping it for readers who bought it, or remove it.
Every title has a status: Draft, Published or Archived. You see it on the title and in the Books list.
Publish
Open a draft title and choose Publish. A title needs two things before it can go on sale:
- a cover, and
- at least one edition that says Ready to sell. See editions and formats.
Editions that are not ready yet stay off the book page until they are.
Unpublish
Open a published title and choose Unpublish. It goes back to being a draft.
Archive
Under Danger zone, choose Archive. Archiving hides the title from your store but keeps it for readers who bought it. They can still download it from their library.
Delete
Under Danger zone, choose Delete and confirm. This removes the title and its editions from your catalog. Titles with orders can only be archived, so readers never lose a book they paid for.
