Lanternbee does not take PayPal payments.
Not built yet. PayPal doesn’t work with Lanternbee yet. What follows separates what works today from what’s planned.
Every Lanternbee checkout runs on the author’s own Stripe account. There is no PayPal button, and we have not started building one. If many authors on the waitlist ask for it, we will look at it and say so here.
What it does in Lanternbee
- Nothing yet. PayPal is not connected to Lanternbee.
- Readers pay by card, or with Apple Pay or Google Pay where Stripe offers them.
Limits
- Readers who only want to pay with PayPal cannot buy from a Lanternbee store today.
- You can keep PayPal for other things, like a tip jar or a crowdfunding page. It does not need to be connected to Lanternbee.
