What Free, Author and Studio include, how the fee on Free works, and what you save paying yearly.
Every account starts on Free. Moving to Author makes sense once you sell enough that its monthly price costs less than the fee. The numbers are in the table below and on our pricing page.
Free
No monthly bill. Lanternbee takes a fee only when you sell, and nothing in a month you don’t. The fee and the title limit are in the table.
Author
A monthly price and no fee on your sales, with no limit on titles.
Studio
Coming. For authors with several pen names, with seats for an assistant or a team.
Monthly or yearly
Author and Studio can be paid every month, or once a year at a lower monthly price. The table shows both.
Stripe’s fee is separate
Stripe charges its own fee on each payment, on every plan. That goes to Stripe, not to us. See connect your own Stripe account.
